production systems later.

Developments Systems are not 'reference platforms'; they are 'product
platforms'. You do not have to create an optimized and efficient
system design- ADS has done that for you, both hardware and system
software. You develop you app;location, and if your production
value demands it, Applied Data will depopulate or otherwise custom-configure
the system to your exact requirements.
Off-the-shelf
Development Systems are based on either a Graphics Client Plus,
a Graphics Master or a Bitsy. The software environment of Tandem,
Thin Client and other ADS products are very similar , so application
development can proceed typically be moved to other ADS products
at the prototype stage in the product.
