Products: TurboXb Module & Solutions Board
ADS’ TurboXb Module, coupled with an ADS Solution Board, is a full featured, low power, XScale-based embedded computer system, using the PXA270 RISC microprocessor. While the TurboXb is ADS’ re-packaged entry into the module arena, the difference and added value ADS still brings to the table is complete systems responsibility. That means going to one source for everything under your application, and a confidence level in the system that is unparalleled in the industry.
With ADS' unique customization capabilities, the base module can be readily integrated with a range of “Solutions boards” to bring out connectors and add additional system dimensions. The TurboXb offers an economical, reliable system to get product to market effectively and efficiently. The TurboXb Module/Solution Board combined system includes a comprehensive subset of peripherals and I/O, including:

Solution Board flexibility:
Applied Data Systems has honed the technique of reconfiguring embedded computers and (TurboXb) solutions boards quickly and effectively, with low risk, low cost and maximum return. With over 15 years of ARM-embedded expertise and libraries, ADS’ model is to reconfigure from one of the largest pools of ARM-based embedded computers available today.
Flexible Power Management:
The PXA270 offers control of the CPU core operating voltage. As conditions permit, the CPU operating frequency and voltage can be changed in response to reduced workloads.
The SBC also will have flexible hardware/software means to minimize the power consumed, by enabling individual ON/OFF power control, or SHUTDOWN/ ACTIVE power modes, over different peripheral devices. The following peripheral has separate software power controls
