The Bitsy G5 is a low cost single board computer using Freescale’s i.MX /RISC microprocessor. The Bitsy G5 is compact, (3x5”), robust (USB, 3 serial ports, ADSmartIO…), scalable (personality board for wide range of expandability), ruggedized (-30to+70degC/-40to+85 degC option, EMI…), and power thrifty (partitioned for optimized power usage), and leverages Freescale’s 532MHz i.MX31. It includes High Speed USB and VFP (Vector Floating Point). ADS systems have been successfully deployed in PDA/handheld, instrumentation, medical monitoring, telematics and in numerous other battery backed embedded applications. The full-featured, Bitsy G5 embedded computer configuration, with an ADS I/O Personality Board, would provide (list includes all options available):
