Overview
The Graphics ClientX (GCX) is yet another generation in ADS' evolutionary model that provides our customers with a seamless product roadmap. Designed as the "next generation" Graphics Client Plus, the Graphics ClientX includes Intel's next generation RISC processor, the XScale (PXA255), without compromising the fit, form and function of our flagship product. The Graphics ClientX not only steps up from StrongARM to XScale, but adds full-featured peripherals such as a UCB multifunction chip with stereo, a next generation CAN bus controller, a 10/100 Ethernet controller (up from the original 10bT controller), and an improved upon microcontroller. Intel's RISC-based XScale PXA255 provides the forum for a powerful but low power consuming 400MHz, <500mW processor. Like the Bitsy, Bitsy Plus and BitsyX, the Graphics ClientX ensures a path of consistency and embedded technology that our customers can count on!
