Overview
The GCM is an ARM based single board computer using the Marvell® PXA320 microprocessor (formally code named Monahans P), with dynamic clock rates up 806MHz.
The system features a 133MHz system bus, 32K I & 32K D L1 cache; 256K L2 cache, Intel® Wireless MMX™ 2, Hardware 2-D graphics accelerators, DDR SDRAM, NAND Flash. High Speed USB, SD, Compact Flash, CAN and Ethernet, and AC97 CODEC and ADS SmartIO™. ADS is now accepting OEM production orders for custom designs based on the GCM Platform.
The GCM is expected to transition to ‘Stocked Product” status in 2007. The Graphics Client M is slated to be the upgrade path for customers using the Graphics Client X (GCX), the Graphics Client Plus, and the Graphics Client.
Like the GCX, Applied Data will offer the GCM in an “application ready” format with Linux and Windows CE BSP’s complete up to the API. With minor qualifications, the GCM can plug into existing ADS connector boards or already developed application-specific connector boards.
