RoHS compliant Single Board Computers, Now Lead Free SBC is Available

In the near future, electronics products, including SBC's, shipped to the EEC, must be RoHS compliant. This is binding on the device, and on the devices component suppliers. Building a lead-free single board system with the narrow pitch BGA components and the new, higher temperature solders has mandated serious re-alignment of our manufacturing processes and suppliers. We are pleased to announce BitsyXb will be our first RoHS-compliant SBC.

RoHS will be a big factor in this decades' manufacturing environment. The way that OEMs deal with it may change the competitive landscape.
