AutoTote™ This company had an opportunity to make a wireless betting terminal for paramutual races. This would allow patrons in a restaurant or bar to place a bet while they enjoyed their coffee. A low power Applied Data system was selected for this application, and packaged with a wireless LAN in a handsome and rugged plastic tablet. The entire project, from start to placement of the first bets in a production deployment took less than 14 weeks.
