Phraselator
Powered by ADS! The
Phraselator is a portable wireless phrase recognition PDA that speaks translated
phrases, and was developed for the military in a rugged, low power form-factor.
It features high-fidelity, directional stereo audio channels with inbound/ outbound
capability and a separate mike for background levels. Even with this, the device
maintains this low power specification, with longer run time than most PDA's.
Future applications include airport security, business travel, and forms based
data entry. Applied
Data Systems designed and built the printed circuit board used in Marine Acoustics
Inc.'s PHRASELATOR Model 1100 electronics translation device. PHRASELATOR
is a Trademark of Marine Acoustics. "ADS
