Bob
Olsen, CEO, joined ADS in March 1995 and brings with him 18 years of experience
managing high technology companies serving scientific, engineering and process
control markets worldwide. Prior to ADS, Mr. Olsen was President of Pacific Scientific
Instrument Division in Silver Springs, MD, from 1988-1995, with responsibility
for 240 employees and worldwide markets for product lines with sales of $40 million.
From 1980-1988, Mr. Olsen was President of the Biomedical Division of the Nicolet
Instrumentation Corporation in Madison, WI, where he managed 260 employees, growing
sales from $3 million to $32 million. Mr. Olsen received his B.S. in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Robert
Davis, Director of Operations, joined ADS in October 1997 and provides significant
experience in all aspects of planning, purchasing, production, and logistics.
Most recently, Mr. Davis was Director of Materials for the Fedders Corporation
(1994-1997). Previously, Mr. Davis was with Nurad Technologies Inc. Mr. Davis
received his B.S. in Management Science from the State University of New York,
and his MBA from Loyola College.
Jan Eldridge, VP of Finance joined ADS in 1995 serving in various capacities throughout the company's growth. Ms. Eldridge has 23 years experience in financial, cost and statutory accounting, contract review, project management, purchasing and human resources. She was previously employed with AMF Bowling Inc., Agency Insurance Company, and Southern States Cooperative. She is a CPA with a B.S. degree from Virginia Tech.
Deborah Grenier, Director of HR and Administration, joined the company in 2000, bringing her years of expertise in employee relations, benefits, OD, strategic workforce planning, technology, and facilities management. Prior to ADS Ms. Grenier was Administrator/Benefits Coordinator for Boston Consulting Group and Administrator for the law firm of Housley, Kantarian & Bronstein, P.C. Ms. Grenier earned her B.S. in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland.
Alain
G. Philippe, Director of Engineering, joined ADS in 1998, bringing with him
over 10 years systems’ specialization in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) microprocessor
and control systems and digital and analog design. Prior to joining ADS, from
1995-1997, Mr. Philippe was senior engineer for Sienna Biotech, Inc., designing
DSP systems. Previously, Mr. Philippe designed DSP systems for Inotech SA, from
1991-1995. Mr. Philippe received both his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering
from University of Orleans, France.
William
Rick, VP Sales, Bill Rick came to ADS in June of 2002, having
previously been the VP Sales and Marketing for Network Storage
Solutions in Chantilly, VA, a provider of network appliances and
NAS/SAN/DAS technology, and 3DLABS, Inc, in Huntsville, AL, which
develops and markets 3D add-in graphics accelerator boards for
Windows NT and UNIX workstations. Prior to these positions, Mr.
Rick was Director of North American Sales for Intergraph Corporation
for four years and held Sales positions at Kubota Computer Graphics
Systems, Floating Point Systems and Control Data Corporation.
Bill earned his BA degree from St. Michaels College, Burlington,
Vermont.
Hilary Tomasson, Vice President of Marketing, joined Applied Data Systems in 2007 with over 15 years of experience, to lead the product management and marketing communications initiatives and expand the company’s success in the embedded computer space as a Eurotech Group company. Formerly with BroadSoft, a leading provider of VoIP application software, Ms. Tomasson led the corporate marketing activities as the company grew to be one of Deloitte’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in North America in 2006. Ms. Tomasson also held leadership positions at Spirent Communications, a telecom test and measurement company, in the areas of marketing, communications, product marketing, and sales operations. Ms. Tomasson holds her B.S. degree from Clarkson University and her M.S. degree from the University of Maryland.
