About ADS :: Environmental Policy and European RoHS Directives

Applied Data Systems recognizes its obligation within the framework of the Chinese and EU initiatives on the Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) and the EU Directive Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Our first RoHS device was built in July of 2006, and we are currently planning to migrate all new designs to RoHS standards. At this time specific identification and marking of RoHS boards is identified in specific customer contracts. As we more of our product line transitions to RoHS manufacture, we will provide generalized marking standards for all our products.
