netCast Streamer II – Broadcast Video over IP applications at high-quality while maintaining low cost and low power
multi-media SBC

Bring security monitoring, distributed video, and digital signage solutions to market quickly and at low cost and low power consumption. The netCast Streamer II is the ideal solution for converting video sources to IP streams at DVD quality. netCast Streamer II is a video encoder platform that digitizes NTSC/PAL video and mono audio inputs such as from security cameras or video cards, to create an MPEG-4 or MPEG-2 stream which is then broadcast over an IP connection using RTP. Frame rates and other settings can be adjusted to optimize application performance and can also be set remotely through a PC using a built-in browser-based interface. Each netCast Streamer II can multicast to an infinite number of recieving devices, including netCast Player II, or up to five recievers in point-to-point communication set-ups. Password protection allows information to be broadcast to appropriate sources.

netCast Sentinel

The netCast Streamer II is available with the netCast Sentinel Windows® application. The netCast Sentinel supports netCast Streamer II capabilities by allowing simultaneous viewing and control of up to sixteen netCastStreamers on a network and outputting an audio stream from a selected netCast Streamer.

The netCast Streamer II and the netCast sentinel are part of Applied Data's Video over IP solution. Click here to learn more about the entire netCast Video over IP family of products.
