We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. As a valued member of the engineering team, you will have an opportunity to have direct impact on the company’s products and deal directly with customers and CMs.
Job Description:
- CM Product Quality: Communicate failures and deficiencies found in production back to CM and follow up with CM to ensure corrective action is taken. Improve incoming quality of product from CM. Track and quantify these issues, development of performance measurements.
- RMA Communication: Communicate with customers regarding the issuance, status and cost of RMA’s that are in house. Satisfy Customers. Track and quantify turn-around times and RMA levels. Develop performance measurements to report to management on state of the RMA’s.
- Review RMA findings: Communicate failures and deficiencies found in the processing of RMA’s back to Operations and CM to ensure corrective action is taken at ADS or CM. Track and quantify these issues, development of performance measurements
- Monitor RMA Database: Monitor and Maintain the existing RMA Database. Create a requirements definition for the next generation RMA Database that can provide management feedback on the Who What When Why of RMA receipts and resolutions.
- Calibration: Maintain the calibration system.
- Supervise Technicians: Establish priorities and direction for technicians.

- To support Production Testing
- Review/Proceduralize/Standardize/Ruggedize Testing Systems
- At both ADS & at Contract Manufacturers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with Mfg process of PWB Assemblies. (IE/ME?)
- Maturity to deal with Customers during trying periods
- Process Improvement Experience or Mindset
- Leadership Ability
- Technical Knowledge of Electronics
