Cadec has developed a wireless handheld unit with ADS Thin Client running Windows CE on StrongARM, in a "Mobile Logistics Management System". The system can interface with multiple communication systems with GPS, electronic DOT logs, automated state fuel tax reporting, electronic tachograph capability, and route management, with optional bar code scanning, encrypted electronic signature capture, and in-cab or on-location printing. Applied Data has worked with Cadec thru five generations of this device.
