This device is 32-bit computer-based and provides quality assurance for the installing of deep foundations including piles and support pilings to support bridges, offshore oil rigs, piers, buildings and other construction. Portable and versatile, the device analyzes data from sensors mounted on the piledriver or support pilings.

As the pile is driven, the system monitors the pile for integrity and stresses, while tracking the driving device to assure the devices' performance to meet design/installation criteria.

The computer is an Applied Data Systems Bitsy running Windows CE and programmed by Pile Dynamics, incorporating their modeling and data analysis software. Getting the maximum MIPS for the minimum milliwatts was critical for this device.
