Here is the Proof!! Benchmark a generic ARM vs Pentium vs other RISC system

StrongARM™ vs Other CPU's

Here is a benchmark for various RISC platforms vs. a 166 Pentium. Low numbers are better. As you can see, SA 1100 (the Intel Brutus Platform) is about three times faster than a 166 Pentium. The ADS implementation of a SA1100 is significantly faster than Brutus due to optimized drivers. All other RISC architectures are slower than SA.

This is a benchmark developed by third-party design/consulting house to compare RISC platform to each other and to a Pentium for PDA type application running Windows CE. A link to the source is provided. Low numbers are better.
